Un club de cultura para leer, analizar y explorar guiones de teatro y literatura dramática del mundo hispanoparlante. 

 

En colaboración con el Instituto Cervantes Nueva Delhi.

  • Sabado Abril 23: 'Bodas de sangre' por Federico García Lorca

  • Sabado Mayo 7: 'La vida es sueño' por Pedro Calderón de la Barca

Las obras de mayo y junio se anunciarán a mediados de abril.

Es necesaria la inscripción previa para cada lectura. Puede registrarse para las próximas sesiones en el enlace (www.kaivalyaplays.org/ttt)

 

Ubicación: Instituto Cervantes Nueva Delhi, Connaught Place (Las estaciones de metro más cercanas son Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk y Janpath).

 

Sobre Tratar Texto Teatrales

 

De abril hasta el final de junio ofreceremos un espacio gratuito al público para que puedan leer una obra de teatro de un autor del mundo hispano. Cada 2 semanas tendremos una lectura de la obra, seguido por análisis del texto incluyendo una biografía del autor y el contexto histórico durante el cual se escribió la obra.

 

Sobre el grupo

 

Kaivalya Plays es un colectivo de practicantes de teatro independientes con sede en Delhi, dirigido por Varoon P. Anand como su director artístico y Gaurav Singh Nijjer como gerente de producción. Kaivalya Plays se ha esforzado por aumentar la presencia de mujeres en el teatro, orientar nuevos talentos y diseñar experiencias innovadoras para los espectadores. Desde 2012, Kaivalya Plays ha llevado obras de muchos autores latinoamericanos a la escena india, y ha colaborado frecuentemente con instituciones como el Instituto Cervantes Nueva Delhi, la Embajada de Argentina en India, la Embajada de Ecuador en India y la Embajada de España en India, entre otras. . Han adaptado y escenificado textos de Julio Cortázar (Adiós, Robinson), Jorge Luis Borges (El Aleph, Tigres Azules, El libro de arena, Funes el memorioso), Pablo Palacio (Un Hombre Meurto a Puntapues), Jordi Galceran (El mètode Grönholm) y Griselda Gambaro (Decir Si).

 

El grupo hermana de Kaivalya Plays, El Clavileño, es el único grupo de teatro en español de la India. Desde 2018, han organizado 2 producciones españolas de larga duración en colaboración con la Embajada de España en India y se convirtieron en el primer equipo de la India en viajar a España para participar en el festival de teatro clásico más grande del mundo AlmagroOFF en 2019. El equipo crea producciones, videos, talleres y sesiones completamente en español.
