This workshop introduces 21st Century Skills and Emotional/Social Learning (ESL) curriculum through Kaivalya Plays' signature applied improvisation methodology. Participants engage in interactive theatre-based activities designed to build communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity in an accessible, pressure-free environment. Using short-form and long-form improvisation games combined with storytelling techniques, students develop confidence in expressing themselves and working with diverse peers. The methodology requires no prior performance experience—participants contribute at their own comfort level while learning practical skills they can apply immediately in classroom, team and social settings. Grounded in principles of responsive listening, ensemble work and inclusive participation, this training creates a safe space for exploring ideas, building trust and strengthening interpersonal connections.
