HEAT AND WEIGHT

A workshop by Avinash Verma

A 2-hour workshop focused on deep listening and awareness. Learn to respond authentically, discover scenes and characters, and engage the audience emotionally. Ideal for performers and anyone looking to enhance their listening and presence skills.

Wednesday 21st August, 6pm to 8pm at National Media Center Gurgaon. For more information and tickets, visit bit.ly/heatweight21 or Whatsapp 9818925599 (Gaurav).

In the "Heat and Weight" improv theatre workshop by Avinash Verma, you'll explore the art of listening—not just hearing to respond, but truly being aware of what's present on stage with your fellow improviser. By practicing deep listening, your scenes will naturally unfold, leading to the discovery of rich characters and stories. Instead of striving to find the perfect joke, you'll uncover more about yourself and your craft. Your audience, in turn, will remain captivated, sharing in the laughter, the tears, and the raw authenticity of the moment. This workshop is designed not only for performers but for anyone seeking to enhance their skills in listening, awareness, and being fully present.
